Asst. Executive Housekeeper (BL6)Key Responsibilities:Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department onboard the cruise shipSupervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleanersMonitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of guest cabins and public areasInspect guest cabins and public areas to ensure they meet the company's standards of cleanliness and presentationTrain and mentor new housekeeping staff on company policies and proceduresMaintain inventory and order supplies for the housekeeping departmentHandle guest requests and concerns in a timely and efficient mannerCollaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experienceAssist with scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping staffConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staffEnsure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulationsAssist with budgeting and cost control for the housekeeping departmentKeep track of guest feedback and take necessary actions to improve guest satisfactionPerform any other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or managementQualifications:German at Berlitz Level 6 (CEFR B2): Capable of leading meetings, writing reports, and handling guest interactions in GermanHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship settingStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareKnowledge of safety and sanitation regulationsWorking Place: Africa, Ohio, United States
