About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs to be the driving force behind its external reputation, strategic narrative, and public policy agenda. This executive will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive corporate affairs strategy that encompasses external communications, public relations, government affairs, and community engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to redefine and strengthen the company's brand, enhance trust among stakeholders, and advance legislative and regulatory priorities. Key responsibilities include managing corporate reputation, leading thought leadership initiatives, and overseeing crisis communications. The role also involves building strategic coalitions, representing the company in key forums, and ensuring that community engagement efforts align with business objectives. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a Bachelor's degree, with a graduate degree preferred, and a proven track record in corporate affairs. They must be strategic, politically astute, and possess exceptional executive presence and credibility. The role requires an outstanding communicator, an influential relationship builder, and a courageous advisor with strong judgment in high-pressure situations. The candidate should be highly collaborative, mission-oriented, and have a history of success in leading a high-performing corporate affairs organization. Experience in government affairs, public policy, and community engagement is essential, as is the ability to anticipate and navigate emerging political, regulatory, and reputational risks.
