Night Shift Director of Housekeeping

Location:US-LA-Louisiana-VirtualPay Rate:Salary - Salary Plan, 65,000.00 USD AnnualWork Shift:Job DescriptionWe're looking for a friendly, compassionate, leader to join our housekeeping team!Direct all HHS Environmental Service Programs throughout the duration of the shift. Support a goal-oriented hospital housekeeping department to create a team environment that is effective, productive, and rewarding. Together with your team, you will create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.Responsibilities## Responsibilities Lead and manage EVS operations across 34 small healthcare locations Supervise, coach, train, and develop a team of 5 FTEs Provide leadership that promotes teamwork, accountability, morale, quality, and respect Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met* Maintain and improve patient, customer, and facility satisfaction* Manage employee assignments, schedules, training, and performance* Coach and counsel team members as needed and address performance concerns promptly* Monitor cleaning processes and ensure all locations meet HHS quality standards* Collaborate with facility and company leadership to achieve operational goals* Analyze operational data and make adjustments to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency* Monitor supply usage, labor, budgets, and overall operational performance* Maintain and monitor quality control systems* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and applicable regulatory requirements* Travel between assigned locations as needed to provide leadership and support* Respond to operational needs during the night shift## Required Qualifications Must have prior housekeeping or Environmental Services management experience Minimum 2 years of experience managing salaried and/or hourly employees* Experience leading housekeeping, EVS, custodial, healthcare, hospitality, or similar service operations* Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions* Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software* Ability to work a night schedule and maintain flexibility based on operational needs* Willingness to travel between assigned locations* Must be willing to relocate for future promotion opportunities## Skills Leadership: Ability to motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Customer Service: Service-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding expectations Decision Making: Ability to quickly make sound operational decisions Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple locations Proactivity: Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing needs Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with facility and company leadership Professionalism: Maintains a positive and professional demeanor Business Ethics: Demonstrates integrity, respect, and discretion## Compensation & Benefits $65,000 annual salary Company vehicle provided Phone stipend Paid time off, including vacation and sick time Medical, dental, and vision insurance* 401(k) with employer match* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)* Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)* Career development and ongoing training## Not Required But a Big Plus* Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish* Healthcare EVS experience* Experience working across multiple facilities* Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements* Military or veteran leadership experience## Important to KnowVeterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.HHS is a private, family-owned business dedicated to caring for its team members and providing honest, quality-driven customer service.
