Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Unload and load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. Transport materials, parts, and finished products throughout the warehouse, shop, and yard. Pick, pack, inspect, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and related documentation. Verify orders using work orders, drawings, and customer specifications. Stage materials and finished products for production and shipment. Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Organize warehouse, yard, and staging areas for maximum efficiency. Coordinate shipments with freight carriers, vendors, and delivery drivers. Perform general warehouse housekeeping and minor facility maintenance. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely. Preferred Qualifications What We're Looking For 1–2 years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling (preferred but not required) Forklift experience (certification is a plus) Experience operating overhead cranes is a plus Basic computer and data entry skills Basic math skills Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license High school diploma or GED preferred (not required) Ability to work overtime when needed Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Physical Requirements This position requires working in an active manufacturing and warehouse environment.
