Job Description

This role focuses on accurately handling, moving, and tracking materials and high-value server equipment within a large, fast-paced warehouse and data center environment. You will pick and stage orders, support shipping and receiving activities, and maintain precise inventory records while following established processes and safety standards. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, receipts, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts according to customer orders and place them in designated work areas in a traditional warehousing environment.

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and related documents to determine items to be picked, gathered, distributed, or shipped.

• Initiate and maintain ongoing open communication with customers, third-party vendors, and internal departments to verify and escalate service orders as needed.

• Move items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

• Assist in counting and accurately tracking materials or items received or distributed, including participation in physical inventory counts.

• Maintain inventory control by ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to inventory procedures.

• Maintain accurate records related to inventory, shipments, receipts, and material movement.

• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts by following established processes and timelines.

• Respond to and resolve inquiries related to orders, receipts, inventory, or material handling activities.

• Organize the facility, warehouse, and work areas to maintain orderliness at all times in line with 5S and housekeeping standards.

• Unload, depalletize, and transport server racks to designated locations, including roll racks and other storage areas.

• Receive, check, and book deliveries into the system to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods.

• Perform picking and dispatching activities, including staging materials for outbound shipments.

• Unbox and re-box items as required to support handling, storage, and shipping processes.

• Provide assistance with receipt and task queries, helping resolve discrepancies or questions related to incoming and outgoing goods.

• Perform 5S and housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Work the required schedule, which may fluctuate based on business needs, to meet production goals and key performance indicators.

• Handle high-value server equipment with care and in accordance with safety and handling procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and data center operations.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in material handling in a warehouse or similar environment.

• Hands-on experience with packing and packaging activities.

• Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.

• Experience using RF scanners for picking, receiving, and inventory tracking.

• Proficiency operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting.

• Ability to safely use pallet jacks to move materials and pallets.

• Experience with loading and unloading materials, including pallets and racks.

• Back ground in shipping and receiving operations, including checking and booking deliveries.

• Ability to read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents accurately.

• Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, counting, and recordkeeping.

• Ability to maintain inventory control and follow established procedures.

• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

• Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility as schedules fluctuate based on business needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling high-value server equipment or technology-related hardware.

• Familiarity with 5S principles and housekeeping standards in a warehouse or industrial setting.

• Comfort working in a large data center and warehouse environment with significant walking.

• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors.

• Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic operational setting.

Work Environment

This position is based in a large data center and warehouse environment with significant walking throughout the shift. The operation runs at a fast pace and places strong emphasis on safety and careful handling of high-value server equipment. Work takes place in a climate-controlled facility designed to support both comfort and equipment protection. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some flexibility required based on business needs. The workplace follows 5S and housekeeping standards to maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas, and uses equipment such as RF scanners, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Los Lunas, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45386.60 - $45387.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
