Environmental Planner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the environmental impact of development projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Your primary duties will include conducting environmental assessments, preparing reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop sustainable strategies. You will analyze data related to land use, natural resources, and environmental risks, providing recommendations that align with regulatory guidelines and community needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental science and planning principles, with experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. You should be proficient in using GIS and other analytical tools to support your assessments. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to present findings and recommendations to various audiences, including government agencies, community groups, and project developers. A degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field is required, along with relevant professional experience in environmental planning or consulting.
