Job Summary / Responsibilities:

The position of Cut-threader Operator are responsible for performing and running a variety of machines. Ability to operate a Landis cut threading machine, chamfer machine.

Performing Set-up and operate (cut threader) on a variety of steel studs
Documents machine data qty, gauge checks all related records/files and updates as needed
Performs machine maintenance and repairs as required using hand tools.
Works to close tolerances and select speeds, feeds and tools for varying conditions according to reference manuals or materials for machine set ups and repair
Reads and interprets conditions defined in reference manuals and related materials to perform repairs.
Grinds and replaces tools as requires

4. Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate / Technical Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor of Science or equivalent
Prior experience in similar job
