Position: Human Services Program Analyst – Other Personal Services (OPS) Working Title: Residential Licensing Specialist Position Number: 67911095 Open Competitive Opportunity This posting may close before the posted closing date. Salary Range $18.75 hourly Position Summary This OPS regional position is responsible for reviewing all residential licensing applications received and processing applications within required timeframes, issuing approved licenses, and denying applications per guidelines. The Work You Will Do Receive new licensing applications and review for completeness; approve or deny within 90 days of receipt. Complete the Central Abuse Hotline Records Search (CAHRS) form for each application to ensure no findings of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Verify the licensee has checked the FDLE sex offender/predator database and ensure any registrants within one-mile radius are documented. If the home is licensed to serve individuals with mobility issues, verify the home meets accessibility needs during initial or renewal site visits. Review personnel records before initial licensure and annually as part of renewal using the Personnel Record Checklist. Create and update licensing information in APD systems including APD iConnect. Assist in disaster planning activities as assigned. Complete other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with monitoring or conducting quality assurance activities. Valid driver's license or other efficient means of transportation to travel to community locations for monitoring and licensing visits. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of licensing requirements for residential group homes. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs. Experience ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations. Ability to travel for work purposes.
