Administrative Assistant, Part-time (25 hrs./wk.)Reports to: Business ManagerLocation: St. James Parish | Lake Placid, FLClassification: Hourly/ NonexemptOverview St. James Parish is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position is twenty-five (25) hours per week and supports the parish with administrative duties.Job ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones and direct calls to Pastor and other staff members.Maintain Pastor's Weekly Appointments and Calendar.Maintain Parish Event Calendar on website.Prepare Weekend and Holy Days of Obligation Mass Binders.Maintain Sacramental Registers and ParishSoft entries.Manage Ministry Scheduler for all ministries of the Mass.Assist DRE with student registrations, sacramental certificates and entries.Maintain Mass intention book and payment records.Assist bulletin editor with weekend bulletin.Schedule volunteers for office.Open and disburse mail.Other duties as assigned.Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, AA college degree preferred.3-5 years of experience in a position of similar duties.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.Strong organizational skills.
