Accountant Position

We are looking for an accountant who is energetic, fun, entrepreneurial and believes in working hard. We are looking for someone with strong personal organizational skills and a positive attitude to assist with office duties and provide support throughout the organization. Essential Job Duties:

• Day-to-day general accounting oversight, including AP/AR, cash management
• Prepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements
• Assist in annual tax preparation and work with tax accountants
• Actively participate with policies and procedure documentation and maintenance
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly financials within month end close process
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation with project managers
• Prepare management reports including job cost reports, monthly financials and as needed reports
• Prepares monthly pay application packages, ensuring subcontractor compliance and submission to banks

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Property Management Accounting experience
• Knowledge of general accounting policies, procedures and software
• Intermediate level knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Netsuite
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to wear multiple hats
• Ability to work independently, be self-directed and self-motivated
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
