Responsibilities
- Serve as unit charge nurse, coordinating patient assignments and staffing for a smooth shift flow
- Deliver direct patient care and supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff in an acute care setting
- Assess patients, monitor status, administer medications and treatments per orders, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
- Document care accurately in the electronic record system and ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and professional standards
- Uphold the patient voice and advocate for service excellence while adhering to established policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (education appropriate for RN licensure)
- Ability to perform in an acute care setting and contribute as a unit charge nurse
- Comfort working night shifts and 12-hour scheduling
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional standards as outlined by state and national guidelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
