DEXA Technologist

This position is for a Bone Density Technologist. The candidate will perform bone density exams. The position does not float between units. On-call and weekend shifts are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. The candidate must have experience in adult outpatient care. Experience with GE equipment preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions. The candidate will work with an interdisciplinary support team. The facility sees a daily census of 32 patients. There are two rooms designated for bone density exams. Special procedures and unit details will involve DEXA (Bone Density) experience. Candidates must commit to working three out of five holidays during the contract period. Additional scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the hiring process. Travelers may be required to float between facilities as needed. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The charting system in use is Epic. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years.
