Spray Technician

Webbs Reserve Golf Club , located in Fort Myers, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Spray Technician! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Job Description:

• Apply fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets.
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
• General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
• Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Secondary studies in turf, agronomy or insects is desirable but not necessary.

Special Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes.
• Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Do simple math.
• Willing to learn.
• Detail oriented.
• Keep area neat and organized.
