Full Stack Developer

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Employment Type: Full-Time Work Environment: Onsite Benefits Competitive Compensation 15% 401k Contribution 30 PTO dayswith carryover available Company Apparel Credit annually Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the development and sustainment of critical reporting and collaboration tools used to manage and distribute intelligence products. This role focuses on maintaining existing applications, implementing enhancements based on evolving operational needs, and ensuring reliable system integrations across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern web applications and working across the full stack using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful web services . Candidates at various experience levels will be considered, particularly those with strong core development skills. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications supporting reporting and collaboration tools Maintain and improve existing codebases while implementing new features based on operational needs Troubleshoot and maintain integrations between multiple applications and systems Develop and support RESTful APIs and web services Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance Participate in a rotating on-call pager schedule to provide emergency support as needed Required Technical Skills Spring Boot Angular RESTful Web Services Experience maintaining and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple systems Elasticsearch MongoDB Oracle Solr Desired Skills Amazon Web Services (AWS) Node.js Experience with reporting and dissemination tools Familiarity with working in secure environments Agile experience using JIRA and Confluence This position includes a competitive and flexible benefits package, including: Paid Time Off: PTO accrues at a rate of 13% of hours worked, which equals approximately 6 weeks, or 30 days, per year for a typical full-time employee. PTO Carryover: Up to 240 hours of PTO may be carried over from year to year. Retirement Contribution: 15% automatic company 401(k) contribution, including 3% safe harbor and 12% profit sharing/company discretionary contribution. 401(k) Vesting: No vesting period. Health Savings Account: Employees enrolled in the High Deductible Plan may contribute additional funds to an HSA up to IRS limits. Flexible Spending Account: Medical FSA contribution limit of $3,200 per year. Dependent Care FSA: Dependent Care FSA contribution limit of $5,000 per year for married couples filing jointly. Flexible Schedule: Flexible or alternate work schedules may be available as long as customer approval is received. Life Insurance: $50,000 life insurance and $50,000 AD&D coverage, paid by the company. Short-Term Disability: Coverage of 60% of pay, up to $1,000 per week, paid by the company. Long-Term Disability: Coverage of 60% of pay, up to $6,000 per month, paid by the company. Education and Training: Up to $5,000 per any twelve-month period for approved training, courses, books, materials, online courses, college courses, seminars, conferences, travel, and related costs. Company Apparel Allowance: $100 per calendar year toward company logo apparel. Additional Information Team members participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week every 3–4 weeks) to provide emergency support when required. On average, after-hours support is needed infrequently and most issues can be resolved remotely. Telework is not expected for this role.
