Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds 16

Number of Staff 20

Type of staff:

• Day Shift (1 Charge 1-2 other RNs)
• Night Shift (1 Point person 1-2 other other RNs)
• 1 LPN each shift if full at 15/16 patients
• 1 PCT each shift if full at 15/16 patients
• No PIC

Type of equipment: Welch Allens

Documentation system: EMR - Meditech

Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts- rotating every 3rd weekend

Floating policy: any medical floor

Patient Experience requirements: rehab documentation knowledge is preferred

• BLS

Advanced skills needed:

• ACLS or PALS nice to have
• Basic Dysthymia class nice to have

Procedures performed on unit:

• Post stroke patients
• Surgical patients (neuro or ortho)
