Front Desk Associate

Overview Join to apply for the Front Desk Associate role at Planet Fitness . Responsibilities Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club and assist with questions or check-in. Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies. Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed. Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries. Perform membership-related functions (sign-ups, updating contact/billing information, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, transferring memberships). Conduct tours for prospective members and assess their membership needs. Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales goals. Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and amenities; ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free by following the cleaning schedule. Walk all club areas to identify safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns; report and address maintenance needs (e.g., dispensers, leaky fixtures). Qualifications 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness). Basic computer proficiency. Physical Demands Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks during shift. Frequent communication in person or on the phone to exchange information. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shift. Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities; ability to move and bend as needed.
