Part-Time Secretary

Job Title

Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Possess basic computer and technology skills and demonstrate the ability to learn district software and information systems.

Demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate records and complete assigned work in a timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality when working with student, staff, and district information.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.

Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and assignments.

Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.

Successfully complete required background checks and meet all applicable employment requirements.

Meet any additional qualifications established by the Board of Education or administration.

Duties:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Provides general clerical and administrative support to administrators, departments, programs, teachers, counselors, and other staff as assigned. Assists with front office operations as needed.

Greets, assists and answers telephone calls.

General office duties as assigned. To include processing, collecting data, copies, data entry, filing.

Maintain confidentiality of student, personnel and district information.

Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, initiative, flexibility, and positive interpersonal skills.

Follows Board policies, administrative procedures, safety requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Contract: 2026-2027 Contract for 184 contracted days-prorated during the school year 6.25 hours on-site per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Paid hours: 5.75 per day

Salary: Appropriate placement on 2026-2027 Secretarial Board Adoepted Salary Schedule.
