THE ENERGY TEAM Our Energy Group at CEI builds projects from the field to the grid. About The Role We are seeking Construction Project Management professionals prepared to work as long‑term travelers with per diem supplements if applicable. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of construction projects and the successful management of a high‑performing team. You will manage the planning, execution, and financial performance of your projects using business practices that are consistent with our company values – people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence. You bring a wide range of skills from being organized to communicating through various channels and collaborating with your team members. You are comfortable taking initiative and ownership of your work. You are not afraid to throw on a pair of boots and your protective personal equipment (PPE)—safety first! You’ll work directly for a project manager or project executive on a team that partners with field, engineering, and design teams. It’s ok if you don’t have a deep understanding of electrical construction, just be ready to learn and get fired up. You'll have the opportunity to soak up knowledge from everyone you work with – from the journeyman and general foreman to the project team assigning daily tasks. In addition to on‑the‑job experience and mentoring from your peers, you’ll attend vendor off sites, training classes, and other learning opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred. Licensure/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred. Experience: Three (3) years in renewable energy, PV preferred. Driving Record: Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
