Our client, a leading organization in the hospitality and gaming industry, is seeking a HVAC Technician II to join their team. As a HVAC Technician II, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the technical operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: HVAC Technician II (Direct Hire) Location: Salamanca, NY Pay Range: $27.20 Shift: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with Sunday & Monday days off

What's the Job?

• Install, inspect, test, dismantle, and repair various HVAC systems and related equipment including refrigeration compressors, pumps, condensers, air handling units, cooling towers, and controls.
• Identify mechanical or electrical failures through testing and inspection, then dismantle, repair, replace, or adjust faulty parts and wiring.
• Review drawings, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to plan and execute repair and installation tasks efficiently.
• Perform safety-conscious mechanical repairs, tests, and filter changes to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Utilize test equipment such as voltmeters, pressure gauges, and gases to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.

What's Needed?

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess and retain an ARI Certification for HVAC Technician-Type: Universal.
• Seven (7) years of hands-on HVAC experience, with knowledge of commercial HVAC applications.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical codes, blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures.
