About Us LADACIN (Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs) has been in the business for more than 75 years and is a non-profit agency whose mission is to provide a continuum of care, including educational, therapeutic, social, residential, and support services to infants, children, and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays. The Position LADACIN Network’s Schroth and Lehmann School is currently seeking a substitute school nurse to work with students with developmental and multiple physical disabilities. The school nurses work closely with our transdisciplinary team (teachers, therapists and school social worker) to meet the individual needs and goals of each student. Responsibilities include performing hands on nursing skills with gastronomy tube feedings, medication administration, seizure monitoring and daily health monitoring. Licensed Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey and Basic Life Support Certification required. Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred. School Nurse Certifications And PALS Certification Preferred. 12 month program Excellent benefits available On-site child care at reduced staff rates The Location: LADACIN is based in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
