Dental Hygienist

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! We are a smaller office with 2 dentists and 5 chairs that treats mostly adults. We focus on quality patient care - WE ARE NOT A FACTORY! I may be biased, but we have a great team here that helps each other out and gets along! Responsibilities Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned Qualifications Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Certified to perform CPR Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located Excellent communication and customer service skills Compensation $55 - $63/hour About Cambridge Smiles We are a general dentistry office, treating patients ages 8 and up.
