This role blends deep technical exploration with industry engagement and internal collaboration. You will help translate system-level challenges into differentiated DRAM solutions while influencing both customer designs and Micron’s product roadmap.Responsibilities:Explore and evaluate system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping toolsEngage customers and partners to identify system bottlenecks and future memory innovationsPathfind AI-focused architectures using LPDDR and DDR DRAM technologiesDefine and explore DRAM features that increase value in AI and high-performance systemsMentor and coach junior architects and engineersMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience10+ years of experience in product engineering or product architectureFamiliarity with DRAM architectures, including LPDDR and/or DDR technologiesUnderstanding of memory hierarchy, memory controllers, and PHY fundamentalsStrong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaborativelyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with memory subsystems in high-performance or AI/ML computing platformsExposure to JEDEC or memory specification development processesExperience influencing system-level design decisions with customers or ecosystem partnersDemonstrated technical leadership or mentoring experienceThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$135,000.00 - $286,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
