Project Sales Lead – Drive Revenue Growth and Client Success in Residential Remodeling

Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

Canopy Building Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Sales Lead to drive revenue growth, develop client relationships, and expand our presence throughout the Philadelphia market. This role combines inbound lead management with proactive business development, allowing you to build a strong sales pipeline while helping homeowners bring their renovation visions to life. This position is designed as a leadership-track opportunity with a clear path toward becoming our future Sales Director as the company continues to grow.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Convert company-generated leads from advertising, referral partners, networking groups, and community organizations into qualified sales opportunities.
• Generate at least 25% of new business through personal prospecting efforts, including networking events, canvassing, and relationship-building activities.
• Conduct professional in-home consultations to understand client goals, budgets, project scope, and design expectations.
• Develop and deliver accurate, comprehensive project proposals within 5 business days of the initial client consultation.
• Maintain detailed customer records, communication logs, and pipeline updates within Jobber CRM to ensure seamless production handoffs.
• Represent Canopy Building Services at networking functions, chambers of commerce, and industry events to strengthen brand awareness.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience specifically within residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics.
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms and digital communication tools to manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout the Philadelphia region.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Deep understanding of residential construction methods, renovation processes, and project estimating.
• Experience using Jobber CRM or similar project and customer management software.
• Established network of local referral partners, contractors, architects, designers, or community organizations.
• Experience generating business through networking groups like BNI or local chambers of commerce.
