Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of ICU experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is located in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a regional hospital setting
• Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR is used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS required; must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
