OR RN - Trauma

Schedule
- Shift times: Variable start times at 07:00 and 09:00
- Weekend requirement: Yes
- On-call: Yes, rotated equally every 6 weeks

Assignment Details
- Daily caseload: Approximately 25 cases
- Contract Length: Not specified
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements
- Valid nursing license required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic setting
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- Travel experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the operating room during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery
- Maintain a sterile field, assist with surgical instruments, and support the surgical team as needed

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 40 hours
- RTO (time off) requests must be included at the time of submission
- Local rules: 50-mile radius rule applies; can only be submitted to one location within the region
- Submission of references covering 1 year of recent experience required
- Return staff policy: 3-month minimum before returning as a traveler
