Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Evening Rotation (7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, 3:00 PM–3:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend (2 weekends per 4-week schedule) | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department serving 350–440 patients per day across up to 120 treatment areas
• Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, including identification of heart blocks
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4–5 depending on acuity level
• Float as needed to Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED (caring for patients age 15 and older unless prior pediatric experience is documented)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, timely, and effective emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Massachusetts (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or Level II ED experience, OR 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
• Active and unexpired BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
• Flexibility to float to Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED areas as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Previous travel nursing assignment experience
• Critical care nursing background
