Description

Position Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.

Essential Duties and Functions: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation. • Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery or distribution of products or materials.
• Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order maintenance or repairs.
• Plan, develop or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Review invoices, work orders or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
• Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
• Train warehouse personnel.
• Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
• Confer with branch personnel to coordinate warehouse activities.

Technology Skills :

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Competent with Microsoft Teams.
• Competent in MoverSuite.
• Competent in warehousing inventory control system

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 3+ years related work experience
• Forklift Certified

Qualifications

• Annual Safety $ - A Safety bonus of $500.00 will be earned if branch has no accidents reported within the warehouse. (33.33%)
• Warehouse Claims ratio $ - A warehouse claims ratio bonus of $500.00 will be earned provided the branch has a warehouse claims ratio of less than 3% as measured by Atlas. (33.33%)
• Military Warehouse Inspections $ A Military inspection bonus of $500.00 will be earned provided a score of 90% or above on each military inspection done within the calendar year. (33.33%)
