Business Analyst (Functional - Local to Pittsburgh, PA and Need on W2)

This is a Hybrid/Remote in Pittsburg, PA and Need Local candidates who can ONLY work on W2

Primary Functions of the Position:

\n

· Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business needs, define desired outcomes, and document business requirements written in problem and value focused terms.

\n

· Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and process reviews to surface pain points, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

\n

· Build current state and future state process flows, journey maps, and business scenarios that illustrate how value will be achieved.

\n

· Translate business outcomes into user stories and acceptance criteria that guide Technology and business teams without dictating technical design.

\n

· Support development of business focused test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and validate that delivered solutions meet defined business outcomes.

\n

· Maintain a neutral, cross functional perspective to ensure solutions support enterprise priorities rather than a single department’s viewpoint.

\n

· Support 3–5 concurrent projects, ensuring analysis, documentation, and business validation activities progress effectively through the project lifecycle.

\n

· Communicate progress, findings, risks, and decisions clearly to PMO leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams.

\n

· Maintain PMO standards for requirements, documentation, workflows, and templates.

\n

\n

Education and Experience Requirements:

\n

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

\n

2. 3-5 years business analysis experience

\n

3. Banking or related financial services preferred

\n

4. Strong analytical, conceptual, and structured problem-solving skills

\n

5. Business analysis or Agile certifications preferred

\n

\n

· Proficiency with business analysis and process tools, including:

· Journey maps

\n

· Process models

\n

· Business requirements documentation

\n

· User stories & acceptance criteria

\n

· Traceability matrices

\n

· Test scenarios and UAT coordination

\n

· Ability to decompose business problems into clear goals, outcomes, and requirements

\n

· Strong facilitation skills across diverse teams and stakeholders

\n

· Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual

\n

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

\n

· Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives
