Senior Investment Associate - Alternative Credit

A leading alternative credit manager is adding a Senior Associate to its private credit and specialty finance team. The firm runs a diversified alternative credit strategy with a broad mandate spanning esoteric ABS, litigation finance, CRE, receivables, bespoke financing (IP, equipment, etc.) and other structured investments, and is well regarded for the depth and creativity of its origination and structuring capabilities. This is a rare opportunity to join a seat with genuine breadth across niche asset classes, with direct exposure to senior investment professionals and meaningful involvement in deal execution from day one. Responsibilities Analyzing and structuring investments across esoteric ABS, litigation finance (consumer, corporate, etc.) and other specialty asset‑backed strategies Fundamental credit analysis, financial modeling, and structuring work across a range of niche asset classes Conducting due diligence and developing investment recommendations for presentation to senior investment professionals Building a diverse and productive origination network from which to source investment opportunities Monitoring portfolio positions and engaging with originators, servicers, and other transaction counterparties Background 3 to 7 years of experience in alternative credit, asset backed finance, or structured credit Direct exposure to esoteric structured credit asset classes required (litigation finance/legal assets, IP financing, equipment finance, or similar niche verticals) Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills, with experience in deal structuring and documentation Exceptional analytical and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Careers
