Specification Specialist II As a Specification Specialist II at HDR, you will prepare design development and contract documents specifications for technical projects, ensuring compatibility with drawings, technical conditions, and project requirements. Responsibilities Prepare design development and contract documents specifications for technical projects, ensuring compatibility with drawings and/or technical conditions. Write technical specifications in compliance with project requirements, acceptable standards and existing laws, rules, regulations, and codes. Prepare bid sheet and measurement and payment section of specifications. Assist with legal and front‑end specification, including general conditions, supplementary general conditions, and related documents. Apply breadth of knowledge to recommend materials, procedures, and technical specifications requirements and supervise production of completed documents and specifications. Maintain master specification sections for corporate use and update standard sections as construction industry changes. Perform other duties as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with specifications. Knowledge to recommend materials, procedures, and technical specifications requirements and contents. Experience with Microsoft Office.
