- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate individualized therapy approaches to help them meet their functional targets
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic strategies to promote continuous improvement at home
- Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor therapy outcomes and modify treatment as necessary to ensure patients remain on the right path
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Encouragement and support for continuing education and post-graduate certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- Requirement for NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their full independence
- Strong and empathetic communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
