Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking experienced Occupational Therapists excited to make a difference in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers full-time, in-person work supporting students over a 7.5-hour school day. Four positions are available, providing flexibility in grade band assignments based on your skills and the needs of the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington OT license
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to hire
• Experience in a school-based OT setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills working with diverse student populations
• Ability to adapt OT strategies for varying ages and developmental levels

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students in elementary, middle, or high school grades (specific assignments based on candidate fit)
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educational teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school and state standards
• Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other specialists to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and provide guidance on environmental modifications, accommodations, and support strategies
• Engage students with creative, meaningful, evidence-based interventions to promote participation and success in the school environment
