Individuals with high emotional intelligence, humility and openness to discovery will thrive in the teams we are building.**Job Summary:**The Logistics Engineer is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of all related logistics processes, machinery & equipment, storage concepts and parts shipments. They will coordinate and provide continuous improvement for lithium-ion battery shipments, as well as battery powered machinery and parts in support of E+ES.**What You Will Do:*** Order packaging and transportation solutions for new product introductions, battery shipments, and work on other supply chain improvements related to transportation and packaging.* Communicate with existing facilities on transportation issues related to receiving, warehousing, and/or line side delivery.* Handle battery recycling activities**Key duties can include:*** Creating/updating transportation systems to ship batteries and non-hazardous equipment* Order packaging via purchase orders* Maintain packaging inventory levels* Utilize and navigate Mach 1* Generate process improvement ideas* Utilize NextGen/Guided Buy/Coupa* Shipment tracking and data entry* Freight charge analysis**What You Will Have:*** **A Bachelor’s degree is required*** **Accountability:** Basic understanding of the importance of taking personal responsibility; ability to take personal responsibility for assignments, decisions and results, and focus on activities that have the greatest impact on meeting work commitments.* **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Basic understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.* **Analytical Thinking:** Basic understanding of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.* **Flexibility and Adaptability:** Working knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.* **Problem Solving:** Basic understanding and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.* **Service Excellence:** Basic understanding and knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.**What Will Set You Apart:*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering* Experience with TOCs, SAP, MACH1, and / or Coupa* Experience as a buyer, working within operations or with inventory management**Additional Information:*** This role is in Morton, IL and requires 5-day a week on-site availability* Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role* Relocation is not available for this role* Travel is expected to be 10% or less### ### **Summary Pay Range:**$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
