Watch Evaluator

Watch Evaluator
The evaluator assesses the condition of incoming watches and prepares repair estimates.
Responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting customer correspondence and entering appropriate symptom codes and comments regarding the issue into the system.
- Determining parts and labor requirements for individual repairs and inputting information into the repair system.
- Assessing the cost of repair based on symptom code and pricing table.
- Determining if watch repair is under warranty.
- Opening case back to check energy cell or battery, movement functions, and overall condition of watch.
- Examining watch for damage and other abnormalities.
- Charging Eco Drive models and setting watches and monitoring basic functions to determine repairs necessary.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of watches a plus.
- Willingness to learn.
