About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced  Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist  for a 13-week travel assignment in La Jolla, CA. This is a weekday position with no weekend requirements, offering a stable schedule and competitive weekly pay.

The IR Technologist will work in both the Interventional Radiology Lab and Operating Room settings, assisting physicians during complex interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have recent EPIC experience, strong sterile technique skills, and prior travel assignment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate during IR cases
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Maintain sterile field in IR Lab and OR settings
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams
• Float as needed based on facility requirements

• ARRT (R) with Fluoroscopy Permit (Required – In Hand at Submission)
• CRT – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• Minimum 1.5+ years continuous experience in Interventional Radiology
• Ability to scrub in IR procedures
• Experience in both IR Lab and OR settings
• EPIC experience within the last 6 months
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience
• 6+ months continuous recent travel experience (no significant gaps)
