IMU / Stepdown RN

Shift: 12-hour day/night rotation
Hours: 36/week
Weekends: As scheduled
Unit: 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit
EHR: Sunrise
Requirements: 2 years experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Ratios: Goal 1:4, often 1:5, occasionally 1:6
Skills: Telemetry, strip interpretation, drip titration, radial bands, groin checks, pre/post cath care
Drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, labetalol, nitro, heparin
Patient Population: Chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, post-pacer, pre/post caths, Tikosyn therapy
Float: Tele or Med Surg as needed
