Assistant Shift Foreman – Plastic Injection Molding

Full-Time Opportunity Starting at $25.00+/Hour or Salary (Based on Experience) Growth Opportunity into Leadership Weekly Pay 1st shift 7:30am to 4pm (Mon-Fri)

Are you an experienced Injection Molding professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an Assistant Shift Foreman to help lead production operations, support mold changeovers, and ensure quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong plastic injection molding experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, training team members, and helping production run at peak performance.

What You'll Do:

Production & Mold Changeovers

• Assist with mold setups, insert changeovers, and machine startups
• Install and set up molds, dryers, sonic welders, label machines, and other auxiliary equipment
• Monitor production schedules and prepare molds and inserts to minimize downtime
• Ensure production runs efficiently while meeting quality and productivity goals
• Track scrap and downtime information accurately

Quality & Team Support

• Work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure products meet specifications
• Train and support machine operators on proper procedures and work instructions
• Assist with employee assignments and daily production needs
• Help maintain high quality standards throughout the shift

Processing & Troubleshooting

• Follow established processing procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap
• Troubleshoot molding, machine, and process issues
• Report production concerns and improvement opportunities to management
• Communicate mold and equipment issues proactively

Materials & Inventory

• Ensure molds, inserts, and production materials are prepared and available
• Coordinate movement of finished goods to warehouse locations
• Monitor production supplies and mold change components
• Support material usage and inventory control efforts

Safety

• Promote a safe work environment and ensure PPE compliance
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns
• Support company safety initiatives and best practices

What We're Looking For:

? Minimum 2 years of Plastic Injection Molding experience (Required)

? Experience with:

• Mold Setups
• Mold Changeovers
• Injection Molding Processing
• Production Troubleshooting
• Manufacturing Equipment Setup

? Leadership skills and the ability to guide production employees

? Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

? Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

? High School Diploma or GED
