• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour evenings
• Schedule: Three evening shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580
• Location: Montour Falls, NY 14865
• Additional Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday may be required; floating to other units or assisting in a CNA role may be needed based on staffing needs

Job Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar patient care setting preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team
• Comfort with routine medication administration, treatments, and vital sign monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care to residents during the evening shift
• Assist with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care
• Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in resident condition promptly
• Document care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and keep the RN informed of changes or concerns
• Maintain clinical competence and follow facility policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Support staffing needs as assigned, including occasional floating as needed
