Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Job ID: 87335 Location: Phoenix, Arizona What you will be doing: Project Coordination
- Ensure that the discipline designs are carried out in accordance with client standards and specifications, industry standards and the relevant legislation (quality of design).
- Provide design interface between disciplines.
- Ensure (certified) design information received from vendors, contractors and consultants is accurate and interfaces with other designs.
- Ensure the effective (peer) review and approval of discipline design.
- Ensure continuous improvement, lessons learnt, value engineering, fit for purpose and latest technologies are implemented.
- Carry the responsibility for the engineering discipline sign off.
- Interface with internal and external design and drafting disciplines.
- Provide discipline inputs for studies and proposals.
- Onsite presence to provide engineering support to the contractor.
- Onsite presence for commissioning discipline activities.
- Manage the mark-up and back drafting of redline drawings.
- Manage the discipline engineering handover and support to the client
- Mentor all ECI-engineering disciplines.
- Takes ownership for personal development (within industry through registration and within company)
- Support the Principal Engineers, ECI Managers and the HOD.
- 15+ years' experience in a similar role within the multi-disciplinary EPCM environment.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Previous mining project experience.
- Registered Engineer
