Land Use Associate Attorney

Location: Century City, CA

Direct Counsel is seeking a Land Use Associate Attorney to join an established California law firm with a growing land use practice.

The firm is seeking a Land Use Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join its expanding Land Use team. The attorney will work closely with experienced land use attorneys representing developers, property owners, and investors, guiding projects from the planning phase through complex regulatory, compliance, entitlement, and approval processes.

• 2-3 years of relevant law firm experience.

• Experience with a broad range of land use and natural resources matters, including due diligence, entitlements, and environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

• Land use and/or CEQA litigation experience is helpful but not required.

• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Strong academic credentials.

• Prior major law firm experience preferred.

• Admission to the State Bar of California required.

Base Salary: $225,000-$250,000 annually

Actual compensation will depend on factors including relevant experience, job-related skills, and qualifications.
