Team Lead

SBM Management Services, LP

Team Lead Job Overview The Team Lead is responsible for coordinating activities within assigned programs. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program and is responsible for a significant portion of the daily activities. Inspects areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations. The Team Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial and or GMP staff. Roles & Responsibilities Perform janitorial duties Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor Assist site management in scheduling and training staff as needed Operate motorized cleaning equipment Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair Schedule clean up and repairs as needed Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area Track and maintain supply inventory Assist management in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment Perform quality, service, and safety inspections Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma / GED required At least 1 year related experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPR/AED/First Aid certification May be required to have a valid driver’s license Completed all safety and task training certification May be required to be forklift certified Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
