Our residential services program is designed to build resiliency in youth across various locations in Suffolk County. This role is essential in supporting youth in a structured, supportive, and therapeutic environment. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible shifts. Be sure to include your availability when applying!Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day support to youth, including:DocumentationLaundry and cleaningTransportation to appointments, activitiesSupervising recreational and daily living activities in residence and communitySupervise and support youth using the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) model-without therapeutic holdsResolve resident issues or concerns effectively and compassionatelyAttend all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, and training programsPerform any additional responsibilities as required by Hope For Youth, oversight agencies, and applicable regulationsMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDValid NYS Driver's License in good standingMust be 21 years of age or older to transport youthAbility to meet physical requirements, including:Operating a motor vehicleLifting/moving up to 50 poundsEscorting youth in the communityPhysically intervening in crisis situations if neededFlexibility to work various shifts and locationsRelevant experience in childcare, residential, or human services settings is preferredWhy Work at Hope For Youth?Supportive, mission-driven team environmentOpportunities for training, growth, and advancementMeaningful work that positively impacts youth across Long Island Excellent training and leadership opportunities available throughout employment and more. Here are some of the benefits of working for Hope For Youth!
