At Stretch Zone Birmingham, we're looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Associate who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and closing sales. If you have previous sales experience and are confident talking with customers, following up with leads, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale, we want to meet you!

Our Sales Associates play a key role in helping new and existing members understand the benefits of practitioner-assisted stretching while helping our studio reach its membership and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales by confidently presenting Stretch Zone's services and membership options to new guests.
• Convert leads into members through consultations, follow-up calls, texts, and other sales outreach.
• Build rapport with prospective members and identify their goals, needs, and concerns.
• Conduct sales presentations and confidently ask for the sale .
• Overcome objections and communicate the value of Stretch Zone memberships.
• Follow up consistently with missed opportunities and prospective members.
• Meet and exceed individual and studio sales goals and performance metrics .
• Promote membership upgrades, additional sessions, and other available services.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation through membership enrollment.
• Greet members, answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with general front-desk responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow established sales and follow-up processes.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive, energetic, and welcoming studio environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is required
• Proven ability to build relationships and confidently communicate with customers.
• Comfortable asking for the sale and handling customer objections.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal-oriented, competitive, team player and motivated by achieving measurable results.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow up consistently and stay organized.
• Professional, positive, and personable attitude.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Experience in fitness, wellness, healthcare, memberships, retail, or a similar sales environment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn our sales process, services, and practitioner-assisted stretching method.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour


Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.

As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
