Our Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) are the heart of our mission, providing compassionate and individualized support. The Role: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives, assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, promoting well-being, and helping them connect with their communities. New Hires that do not meet criteria will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00/hour. Valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway Transportation Orientation are required. What You\'ll Do: Provide individualized support with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community outings. Foster independence by helping individuals develop life skills and make choices. Promote social inclusion by supporting participation in community activities. Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy and patience. Collaborate effectively with a supportive team of DSPs, supervisors, and families.
