Candidates must be available for night shifts. Flexibility with scheduling is essential, including the possibility of floating across various units if needed. The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical patients, with specific attention to those requiring telemetry monitoring. The RN will be responsible for managing observation patients, respiratory conditions, and general medical-surgical diagnoses. Experience with palliative care, hospice, and psychiatric observation is preferred. Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation as well as telemetry monitoring. Additional responsibilities may include managing patients with diabetes, surgical observation, and other general medical needs. Effective communication and teamwork are vital in providing quality patient care. The ability to manage dysrhythmias and administer blood products will be important in this role. Travelers should be prepared to adapt to the community's healthcare environment and patient needs.
