Back-End Engineer New York City

Overview You're organized, focused, diligent, and love messing around on the back-end. You're familiar with Behavior-driven development, and you're always excited to work with others to solve complex problems and build new features. You have have experience in PostgreSQL and Ruby on Rails. Location We're founded on the premise that in-person interactions are infinitely more valuable than digital ones, so we primarily work in-person from our office in NYC. However, we recognize the importance and convenience of WFH and encourage our employees to work from home two days per week as they need. Required Experience Familiarity with API design and implementation Experience working with SQL and noSQL databases Understanding and scaling of DevOps Comfort working with Git, ownership of test suites and unit testing Experience deploying applications through AWS Nice to Have Experience integrating and building off of complex APIs Management of complicated databases Familiar with cloud architecture and can build and maintain high-grade infrastructure Compensation $90k-125k (depending on risk appetite and qualifications), and a sizable equity position in LINK.
