This role is responsible for increasing profitability through comprehensive cost estimating.**Essential Functions*** Interprets and analyzes contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project and prepare estimates and bid proposals.* Estimates majority of the work applicable to the respective region or business line, including, target projects and owners list, and managing bid flow.* Reads and interprets sophisticated specs and drawings. Uses formulas and makes calculations. Other duties as assigned.**Education & Experience*** 5+ years of industrial services experience preferred* 3+ years of experience reading isometric drawings* 3+ years of experience estimating industrial services lines of business* High School Diploma or equivalent**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*** Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team initiatives* Knowledge in safety procedure implementation is a plus* Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects and competing priorities* Effective communication and critical thinking skills* Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines* Critical in managing the business and identifying problems or opportunities* Demonstrates ability to be flexible and quickly adaptable to changing conditions across all spectrums* Creative and innovative approaches and solutions on a project-by-project basis* Effective participation in team environment, with both external and internal teammates**Work Conditions/Physical Demands*** Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods* Light work that includes moving objects up to twenty pounds* No adverse environmental conditions expected #J-18808-Ljbffr Apache Industrial Services, Inc.
