What You'll Do

• Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings, parking areas and grounds
• Monitor entrances and exits to support property security
• Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and activity documentation
• Respond to safety concerns, alarms and incidents calmly and professionally
• Follow established security policies and procedures
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Assist with emergency response procedures as needed
• Provide courteous customer service to residents, visitors and staff
• Communicate observations and concerns to leadership

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience as a security guard or security officer
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to safety, accountability and teamwork
• Successful completion of pre-screening hiring requirements
