HVAC Service Manager

Position SummaryEndless Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our growing residential service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, supporting and developing technicians, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving department performance.This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing service technicians, providing field support for complex service calls, conducting training and ride-alongs, and ensuring the department operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of HVAC Service Technicians and Preventive Maintenance TechniciansConduct ride-alongs and field training to support technician growth and performanceProvide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance on complex service callsCollaborate with Dispatch and Operations teams to maximize scheduling efficiencyMonitor department productivity, customer satisfaction, callback rates, and overall performanceConduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviewsAssist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team membersEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulationsSupport warranty claims, parts procurement, and technical documentation processesResolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectivelyIdentify opportunities for process improvements and department growthParticipate in the on-call rotation and provide support during peak demand periodsFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvementRequirementsMinimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experienceMinimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience servicing heat pumps, ductless systems, central air conditioning, furnaces, and boilersEPA Universal Certification requiredExcellent communication, leadership, and coaching skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable using mobile technology and service management softwareValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningWillingness to participate in the on-call rotationWork LocationOur main office is in Marlborough, MA, and we serve most of Massachusetts.Endless Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Salary Description $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience
