Part-time Cook

School District of Onalaska is accepting applications to start with the 2026-27 school year.

Current openings:

• Middle School - 4 hours - 10:00am - 2:00pm
• Eagle Bluff - 5.5 hours - 7:30am - 1:00pm
• Eagle Bluff - 4 hours - 10:30am - 2:30pm

This position is responsible for maintaining a high-quality child nutrition program in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and warmth.

No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in quantity cooking preferred
• Communication skills - both verbal and written
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic mathematics
• Ability to deal with stressful situations
• Ability to cooperate with co-workers
• Ability to accept change with a positive attitude
• Capable of lifting 42-50 pounds unassisted
